I can totally relate to your feelings about how your writing journey has gone this year. But I look forward to the goals I hope to accomplish in the new year.

Ditto, ditto! The transparency of your writing pushed my saboteur to the back, making room for this fellow traveller to step forward and SEE. Thank you & write on.....

Oh Jeanette, I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm so grateful for you post.

The journey to create is bumpy and unforgiving at times.

And it's so easy to get lost in other people's goals and needs instead of focusing on your own.

A visit into the darkness can be scary and I'm happy it was clarifying for you. I can feel you renewed sense of purpose and even greater resolve to shape your third act in a way that lives up to your vision and your needs.

Thank you for writing and sharing so much of yourself so that others, like me, can learn from you!

I feel seen, thank you Helen. Yes, recognising that this journey will meander and not look like you thought it would is half the battle. And getting simpler in the goals and more 'realistic' is smart.

And allowing time for deep work so that you're giving your best always.

I look forward to checking in on your journey and comparing notes at the end of 2025!.
