When I read what people like you say, including quotes from others absolutely amazes me. But then I guess it is a bit like when I was doing my Journey Through Art posts I sourced comments from artists and you would be doing the same. I am fortunate with my next project as I have until mid November to get the first ‘issue’ out, but knowing me I will be ahead as I don’t like deadlines. When I was in Secondary school I hated having to write essays and compositions, I don’t have an imaginative mind, certainly not to write 1,000 words at a time. I am a précis writer, keep it simple. But sometimes that is not enough. I know what I’m talking about but you may not have a clue. A real learning curve for me.
As one of the participants in your writing challenge, every word of what you described is so true!
Writing a book is a big task but it's also very fulfilling knowing what you share will make an impact and exciting to experience how it all unfolds serendipitously, especially when it's even better than what you initially planned or expected!
Jeanette has been a wonderful teacher and guide. She has made this process so much easier and faster than expected. I can't believe I'll be completing this ebook so soon, and it wasn't even something I was planning to do this year. What a wonderful gift and surprise!
Thank you Kat! The winning combo seems to be smart writers, cooperative approach, and a clear specific goal for the ebook. Then we avoid distractions and overthinking. Appreciate all your brilliant help.
I highlighted so many sentences here!
"The thing is, how big it is doesn’t really affect how you feel."
I'm a big fan of this approach: we have to celebrate our successes and wins, no matter how insignificant they seems.
And good sentences take time. Loved it!
Glad it resonated Veronica!
Same here! I agree there were so many fabulous quotes and insights here. I highlighted a bunch myself, too.
A breath of fresh air! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it Julie. Did anything in particular strike you?
Writing a book in your challenge is much easier than going alone!
The group mind is a key element to finishing the project.

I love keep it simple. And also stealing Iike an artist, as Austin Kleon advises. We all offer our unique gifts.
