Fantastic article! I appreciate how you framed the inner critic. That is a lifetime of work, chipping away at that little devil. What would we be, if that were no longer a factor? It's mind blowing.
I love reading your articles. They are inspiring and motivating. In my case, I need to overcome the clarity of purpose. As long as I am in two minds about what to do next, I will never commit to face my inner fear :)
Thank you for taking the time to say that! I really appreciate it.
Yes, gaining clarity is the first step to taking action. But sometimes, if you start writing, even journaling for yourself, clarity of purpose will come. I can help you with some. prompts if you like.
You made these sentiments come alive in such a wonderful way. It was like reading poetry with the words flowing so beautifully into the next thought and next feeling.
Fear can be this scary thing holding us back or its voice can just be a gentle reminder of what to be aware of. It all depends on how we choose to interpret that voice within us. Giving it a seat at the table (or a backseat) does reduce the inner resistance compared to trying to force it away.
Thanks Kat. I am learning to recognize and honour the many ways fear shows up on the creative journey. Sometimes as criticism, or comparison, or urgency, or fatigue, or doubt. The more I step back and see it for what it is, the more I have its number and move on.
There is no way fear will ever take the wheel. Love that!
We need to be adamant about this.

So so true Maria! Creativity unleashed! But it also serves to power up our resolution doesn't it? Over and over again...
